Breast milk is one of the most complex biological substances on earth. It adapts to your baby's needs, carries your antibodies, and changes composition week by week. No formula replicates it. And yet, for millions of mothers, the reality of modern life - returning to work, travelling, illness, low supply - means that milk is lost before it can be used.
MilkWise exists to change that. Using specialist freeze-drying technology, we preserve your milk in a shelf-stable powder that retains its full nutritional profile. No freezer required. No expiry anxiety. Just your milk, ready when you need it.
We are a small team of parents and product people who believe that the tools to protect breast milk should be accessible to every family - not just those with the luxury of a dedicated deep-freeze and a perfectly predictable schedule.

Our story
It started with a freezer full of milk and nowhere to go.
Our founder, Lily Scott, mother of Clementine and Violet, found herself with six months of carefully expressed milk and a return-to-work date looming. Her freezer was full. Her baby was starting solids. And she knew there was a better way than filling the freezer in the kitchen.
She wanted to use a service similair as had seen the popularity in US and Australia, but couldn't fine one the the UK, so she built one.
